Synopsis: Frankenstein returns to his castle with his assistant, Hans, to find it deserted and robbed. In the crowded inn he meets his old adversaries, the Burgomaster and Chief of Police who set up a hue and cry. Escaping through a mesmerist's tent they spend the night in a mountain cave inhabited by a deaf-mute girl. There in the ice they find Frankenstein's monster created long ago. Back in the castle the Creature is revived but remains inert. With the help of Zoltan, the mesmerist, it awakens and under his influence murders the Burgomaster. Frankenstein is blamed and arrested. He escapes and returns to the castle where Zoltan is attacked by the Creature who then goes berserk. Trapped in the laboratory Frankenstein sends Hans and the girl away and perishes with the Creature.
